Undabo helps DCM go 3D

Undabo was approached by Sky Creative to design and direct the stereoscopic 3D onscreen branding for Digital Cinema Media (DCM) the market leader in UK cinema advertising.

With a short production window and armed only with DCM’s current 2D onscreen branding and their corporate Identity pack, Doug Kennedy set about designing and developing a host of possible applications for them all in full 3D.

The final design discarded a lot of the original ideas that were very much trying to stay true to the 2D version but instead opted for a classic and simple design that focused elements of their corporate identity and allowed the new freedom of depth and space to enhance their new 3D world.

Digital Cinema Media (DCM) is the market leader in UK cinema advertising, providing 2,783 screens at 465 sites for advertisers. DCM owns a 80.1%* share of the cinema advertising market through exhibitors including ODEON, Cineworld, Vue, Picturehouse, IMAX, and many Independent cinemas.
